Global Radiosurgery offers a full range of radiosurgery physics services, from beam data acquisition to treatment planning system commissioning to end-to-end evaluation of all components. With our specialized phantoms can we can quantitatively assess targeting and dosimetric accuracy, utilizing the 2D and 3D image guidance capabilities of your system. We can commission systems for RPC benchmark phantom irradiation, including RTOG 0631 and 1021 protocols. All of our services can be customized to suit the specific needs of your center.

Off Site Evaluation of Beam Data

 

Avoid treatment errors due to incorrect beam data. We can evaluate your measured data against consensus data



Beam Data Acquisition

 

We can measure all beam data: PDD, profiles, output factors, leakage/transmission, for MLC and cones, and for all dose algorithms - including Monte Carlo. We will independently verify absolute calibration. We will format data for your specific treatment planning system. We will provide a comparison for your measured data with consensus data from identical machines. Prior to arriving on site, we will help you determine necessary resources, dosimetric equipment selection, and calibration recommendations, assess staffing levels, and assist in process & procedure development.

Verification of: Mechanical and radiation isocenters, Image transfer from all imaging modalities, CT / MR image fusion, end-to-end localization and positioning accuracy, end-to-end dosimetric assessment

 

Absolute and relative dose verification between calculation and measurement, for all treatment modalities: circular arcs, dynamic conformal arcs, fixed beam, IMRT, VMAT.
